GROWING
YOUR CHILDREN

MISSION

Our mission is to raise children in the ways of the Lord, teaching them to prepare their hearts and ready their ears to the knowledge of His word. Our prayer is they will apply it in the classroom, at home and in places God will take them. Our goal is to teach children to trust in the Lord and His love for them. Instructing children to treat and serve others as they would themselves. Striving to help build a foundation for children to walk in His ways through the everyday teaching and instruction, as well as leading them to be self-reliant and confident when they start their educational journey academically, socially, and independently.

"As a first time parent...

I was nervous sending my baby to daycare. Who isn't?

The entire staff made me feel so welcomed, and all worries I had left on the very first day.  My days away from my baby are made easier by Mikalyn loving on her and sending the sweetest pictures and updates. The Children's Academy truly made my transition back to work so much easier and worry free.

We love them
so much and so will you!"

VISION

We make it our focus to use God’s Word in everyday activities, being aware of the opportunities throughout the day to teach God’s ways. Our goal is to plant God’s word in the hearts of children, building a strong foundation of character that will stay with them throughout their life, in the home and at school.

CLASSES/
CURRICULUM

Our Academy has hand-picked and uses a combination of:

  • “ZooPhonics”

  • “Abeka” Bible Curriculum

  • “Second Step” (Character Building)

  • "Mother Goose Time"

  • Sign Language

  • Basic Academics

  • Everyday Vocabulary Words

We picked the “ZooPhonics” curriculum because it relates to animals, teaching children the lowercase letters through signals and sounds, then graduating to the uppercase letters.  When the children are signaling the letter, their brain is retaining the signal to go with the sound for the letter of the animal, making it fun and interesting to them.  This curriculum also has components such as Science, Math, Music, Cooking, Social Studies, Health, Sensory, Art/Drama, and Psychomotor (Large/Small motor skills) that relate to the letter of the week and number.

Our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms also learn a bible lesson on a timeline, a weekly bible verse, song and pledges.
